VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
I supported teenagers at Dharma Citta in developing their business projects, based on the vocational workshops they attend at school. I helped them think about business plans and communication, and supported them in reaching out to local shops and restaurants.
Everything went really well during my stay.
Sometimes I suggested ideas that they felt wouldn’t work. At first, I didn’t fully understand why. Then I realized the importance of listening and trusting them – they understand their culture, their reality, and what works best.
This experience allowed me to truly discover and better understand Balinese culture. Today, I feel like I have a second family in Bali.

A COMMITTED VOLUNTEER APPROACH
Volunteering at ANAK is based on a genuine and responsible commitment.
You organize your stay independently, depending on the duration and nature of your mission. The organization does not cover accommodation, food, transportation, or administrative costs (insurance and visa).
However, we are here to support you before and during your mission, providing guidance and answering your questions.
At ANAK, volunteering is not voluntourism, or a short-term experience. It is a long-term commitment to a structured project, supporting children and teenagers while respecting their culture and daily lives.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Becoming a volunteer means dedicating your time to support children and teenagers over the long term, sharing your skills and contributing tangibly to their development and independence.
