Anak - Aid to Indonesian Children
is a non-profit, apolitical and non-denominational charity organization founded in 2003. ANAK’s goal is to educate children from remote villages in Bali, where more than 60% of the population lives below the poverty threshold. In partnership with local communities, ANAK assists and follows more than 250 children in their studies from primary school to university level. This is exclusively made possible by the financial support of more than 300 godparents, donors and partners.
Our vision
ANAK believes that educated and healthy children are the basis for a more just world, not only in terms of material comfort and safety, but also in terms of freedom and the rights and dignity of people. We dream of a world in which even the poorest children can access education and knowledge, giving them the freedom to choose their life and break the cycle of poverty and dependence.
Our mission
ANAK supports the education of Indonesian children from poor rural backgrounds and encourages them to open up to the world and develop their creative potential through various cultural and artistic activities. Finally, ANAK pays close attention to the children's health.
