Anak Aid to Indonesian Children
is a non-profit, apolitical and non-denominational charity organization that is officially registered in France and Switzerland. Since 2003 ANAK has been helping to educate more than 250 children from poor rural areas of the island of Bali, from primary school to university level. This is made possible by the financial support of more than 300 sponsors, donors and partners through ANAK's French, Swiss, Spanish and Indonesian offices.
Our vision
ANAK believes that educated and healthy children are the basis for a more just world, not only in terms of material comfort and safety, but also in terms of freedom and the rights and dignity of people. We dream of a world in which even the poorest children can access education and knowledge that will give them the freedom to choose their life and break the cycle of poverty and dependence.
Our mission
On one hand, ANAK supports the education of Indonesian children from poor rural backgrounds; on the other, it encourages children to open up to the world and develop their creative potential through various cultural and artistic activities. Finally, ANAK pays close attention to the children's health.
